East Cork Well Represented At Munster Inter County U 13 Blitz

Munster Intercounty Ladies’ Football U 13 Blitz

On Saturday last teams from almost every county in Munster assembled in Mallow GAA complex to take part in the U 13 Ladies Football inter county blitz organized by the Munster Ladies Football board. The day was crisp and fresh but the enthusiasm of all was outstanding. East Cork were well represented with 4 teams and it was plain to see the great work that has taken place in the development training over the last few months as the Imokilly girls more than held their own with all other counties.
Many thanks to all the trainers, mentors and coaches for their hard work and thanks also to all the parents who brought their girls to all the sessions. Some girls will go on and play for their county again many times but for the majority this may have been their only oppertunity to represent Cork and fair play girls you all did it in style and we hoped you enjoyed the day.
Players will be notified in due course as to the next stage and information will be posted on http://www.Corkladiesfootball.com web site and http://WWW.eastcorkladiesgaelic.com

The U 15 Intercounty Blitz will take place in Mallow on Saturday morning next and players will be notified during the week as to the exact times so the very best of luck to all taking part. Final Training Session will be in Loreto astro pitch Fermoy tonight Tuesday at 7 30 pm
As I drove back from Mallow on Saturday evening after a long day the beauty of the autumn colours was something to behold along the highways and byways of our beautiful land and as the Ladies Football season comes to a close we reflect on a super year in the East Cork division and look forward to another great year in 2017.
