REPORT BY SANDRA O BRIEN PRO Our Annual Table Quiz was held last night in The Old Thatch , thanks to all who supported we greatly appreciate it , to all who donated fantastic prizes & to all local bussisness who gave very generously . Thanks again to Brian Blondie Barry & staff for super venue & hospitality the finger food was only delicious , to all our hard working commitee  espicially our fabulous chairwoman Sheila Dennehy  , to James Maunsell for making out the challenging questions again this year , to all correcters Noelle O Donovan, Angela Walsh & Margot Walsh  & myself Sandra O Brien to Olive Griffin  & Noel Dip O Connor  & Ceila Daly  & Aoife Walsh who were a great help as always giving & collecting questions & selling tickets with Helen Kennedy your help was invaluable too , & what about the fantastic MC Mark O Sulllivan Aka FANTA , huge thank you, he was excellent on the night really added to the great atmosphere as we had a three way tie in the end with all 3 teams on 70 points, the tension was palpable & each team were given tie breaker questions & resulted as follows  third were team from midleton , Second  losing out by one point only Team from youghal Tommy Roche Assumta Parker Declan Hennessy & Eddie Leahy  & 1st were local renowned winners  Coleman Motherway, Niamh & Brinsley McDonnell & Finbarr Motherway ,  huge congrats to all the winners & everyone who participated & apologies if I inadvertently forgot anyone , thanks too to Andrea Cunningham from East Cork journal & Gerry O’Mahony from youghal news who came to take photos &  please look out for fab photos in those papers next week , great night had by all .
