Cork Defeat Galway to Take Minor Title for the First Time
Congratulations to Aine Keating and Sally Mc Carthy and all involved ini a great win for Cork Minor A Camogie. Cork finished with a strong surge to claim their first All-Ireland Camogie Minor A Championship at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on Saturday 28th of April, 2018. Cork 0-18, Galway 1-11.
CORK INTERMEDIATE CAMOGIE
Cork managed to reverse their group defeat to Westmeath to win the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie League Division 2 title for the second year in a row. The match was played on Sunday the 29th of April, 2018 at St. Lachtains GAA Freshford. F/T Cork 0-8 Westmeath 1-4 .Congratulations to Jennifer Barry and her Cork team mates. Well done Jenny Barry!
U16 Ladies Football
We finally played our last 2 league matches winning both on a very impressive scoreline. Bride Rovers 9-09 Fermoy 4-05 and Bride Rovers 2-05 vs Cobh 1-4. The girls are playing some very solid football and all their commitment to training is reaping the rewards. We won all 5 of our league games so are now awaiting details on who we will play next in East Cork Semi final.
We have 4 camogie games to play, the first of which will be played this Wednesday night at home 7pm in Pynes.
