U12 Girls Football

Both under 12s teams have finally got their season underway in the East Cork League.
Group 1  played away fixtures against St Nicks, & then Erins Own. Though the results on the days didn’t go our way there were  great performances right throughout the team.
Our team in group 2 started with game at home to Glanmire,  the girls worked hard and got some early scores and maintained that lead till well into the second half when Glanmire went on to score some late scores and closed out the match for the win.
On Sunday the girls played against  Midleton.  Though the girls worked very hard Midleton were  more experienced on the day and went on to win the match comfortably.  Next up is a match away to Aghada.
