Glanmire Ladies Football News 5/18


All our training is back in full swing, very large numbers are attending all sessions and the girls can’t wait to get back out on the pitch to start there games.

Well done to all our little stars that turned out in huge numbers for training this week. The u6 u7 u8 gave our coaches a good run around, training will continue every Monday till further notice all new members are welcome, training is from 6-7pm Monday in old Christians hall.

Due to circumstances behond our control the date of our run has reverted back to its original date of March 25th. (See new poster)

Orlaith Roche had her first run out with the cork team last weekend, playing a challenge game v Waterford, they had a good game and won. They played 4 quarters of 20 mins meaning they all had a good run around, Orlaith got on well. Well done Orlaith, good run around before the leagues start.

Hard luck to Ava Carey( Glanmire Ladies Football Club and Colaiste an Phiarsaigh) in the Munster Schools All Ireland Blitz in Kinnegad, Co Westmeath. Congratulations to Ulster who went on the win it out right.
