Munster U8 & U10 Ladies Football Blitz

Our U8 and U10 teams had a good day out in Fermoy last Saturday, a good day was had by all. Our thanks to Fermoy Ladies football club for holding the event.

Cork County 13 A Side B Semi Final: Carrigtwohill 4-13 Youghal 2-8

Last Sunday Carrigtwohill and Youghal meet again to renew their healthy rivalry as we had done over the last few months across many grades. Carrigtwohill ran out winners on a scoreline of 4-13 to 2-8


Cork County U16 D Championship Carrigtwohill 1-9 Mallow 0-7.

Carrigtwohill and Mallow served up one entertaining and tough match which saw Carrigtwohill winning by a 5 point margin. In the first half Mallow were the dominant force, which they lead at half time on a scoreline on 06 to 0-4. In the second half Carrigtwohill slowly but surely tipped in reducing the deficit and with 15 minutes to go drew level 7 points a piece. With the game in the melting pot, Carrigtwohill got the crucial goal to put daylight between the teams. Carrigtwohill added two more points to run out winners on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-7.

East Cork Minor League Semi Finals:
Carrigtwohill v Eirnsown in Eirnsowe. Date TBC in East board metting on September 7th.
Passage Football Blitz U8 & U10s : Saturday 10th of September.

Fé 8 : Training from 6-7 pm on Wednesday in the GAA pitch.Gum shields required.

Fé 10: Training from 6-7 pm on Wednesday in the GAA pitch.Gum shields required.
Fé 12: Training from 6:pm-7:30pm on Friday in the GAA pitch.Gum shields required.

Fé 14 : Training from 6-7 pm on Thursday in the GAA pitch.Gum shields required.

Fé 16: Training from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm on Thursday in the GAA pitch.Gum shields required.
Minor: Training from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm on Thursday in the GAA pitch.Gum shields required.
Junior : Training from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm on Thursday in the GAA pitch.Gum shields required.

Central Council Information.
A directive from Central Council stating that there is an EMBARGO on all CLUB GAMES, CHALLENGE MATCHES AND TRAINING SESSIONS on FRIDAY, 23rd September, SATURDAY, 24th September & SUNDAY, 25th September. The Injury Fund will NOT cover any injuries occurred on these dates. This directive is applicable to all Counties and will apply to us here in Cork regardless of whether or not we reach the All Ireland final.
