U-14 County Championships Semi Finals This Weekend.


Mixed Fortunes for East Cork Representatives in U 14 County Quarter Finals

Glanmire East Cork U 14 “A” league winners progressed to the semi final of the county championship with a good win over Nemo Rangers and now face Eire Óg in one semi final fixed for Friday night in Eire Óg at 6 pm Inch Rovers got the better of Kinsale in another quarter final and will take on Bandon in the other “A” semi final and this game is fixed for Monday night

In the “B” county championship Aghada and Youghal play each other in the semi final in a repeat of the East Cork “B” league final and with both clubs knowing each other very well this game promises to be a cracker. The match is fixed for Friday night in Killeagh at 730 pm.

In the “C” County championship Watergrasshill put in a brave effort but were narrowly defeated and failed to progress but Midleton had a good win over Courcey Rovers and now meet St Michaels in the semi final with the game down for decision on Saturday evening .
In the “D” County Championships both East Cork representatives bowed out at quarter final stage. Well done to St Colman’s and especially Cobh who were taking part in the county championships for the very first time
