Match Results

After the recent bad weather it was welcome relief that we got teams out playing. On fé 14 and juniors started our season, but unfortunately both teams teams were beaten by Lisgoold and Knochnagree.

Fé 14 East Cork League: Carrigtwohill 2-4 Lisgoold 6-12.
Cork County League 13 a Side: Carrigtwohill 1-10 Knochnagree 3-18


Upcoming Fixtures:

Fé 12 East Cork League v Glanmire A @ 5pm on Sunday 20th March in Carrigtwohill.
Fé 16 East Cork League v Mayfield on Sunday 20th March TBC.
Junior A 13 a side v Fermoy B on Sunday 20th March in Carrigtwohill. TBC
U21 C Cork Championship 1/4 v Kanturk in Carrigtwohill to be played March 29th.

Fundraising: Bag pack on March 19th in Tesco.
Tesco bag pack this Saturday 19th March 10am -6pm. Looking for volunteers to help in 4 x2 slots (10am – 12 noon, 12noon -2pm, 2pm -4pm, 4pm -6pm). Let any committee member know time. If you can spare an hour it would be a great help.

Church Gate Collection 23rd -24th April.

Our Church gate collection is on the weekend of April 23rd-24th.

Carrigtwohill St Patrick’s Parade – March 17th.
The Carrigtwohill Ladies Football are in Group D (Behind Group C), beside the lake. The parade is commencing @ 1:20 pm and everyone is requested to be at their allocated meeting point by 12:30 pm. Parents can collect their children after the parade at the community hall car park at group collection point.
Parking will be restricted within the village, so people are advised to make their way to meeting points on foot.

Training:
Fé 10: Training from 7pm to -8 pm on Friday the Community Hall.Gum shields required. Please bring €2 to help cover the cost of the hall.
Fé 12: Training from 6 – 7pm on Friday in the GAA pitch.Gum shields required.
.Fé 14 : Training from 5 – 6pm on Friday in the GAA pitch.Gum shields required..
Fé 16: Training Fri 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm in astro pitch. Please bring €2 to help cover cost of pitch.
Minor: Training Fri 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm in astro pitch. Please bring €2 to help cover cost of pitch.
Fe 21: Training Fri 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm in astro pitch. Please bring €2 to help cover cost of pitch.
Junior : Training Fri 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm in astro pitch. Please bring €2 to help cover cost of pitch.
Kit Them Out With Lidl
To celebrate Lidl’s sponsorship of the All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Competition they will be running a 6 week competition in stores throughout the country (15th February-25th March inclusive).

All customers will receive an entry card with each transaction (spend €20 or more for a total of 2 cards) which can be used to vote for your local post primary school to be in with a chance to win a free kit comprised of: A full set of team jerseys, 10 footballs, stirrup pump, full sized kit bag, cones, bibs and water bottles.

To vote, write the number that corresponds with the name of your chosen post-primary school in the circular space provided on the card. The list of school names and their corresponding numbers can be found on the competition entry unit before you exit the store.

If a local post primary school with a ladies football team is not listed there is space on the entry card to write the name of the school.

Entries should placed in the competition box before exiting the store.

The winning school will be formally presented with the kit bag at the store once the competition is closed and entries have been counted.
