Lisgoold 2-3 v St Colemans 2-2

Narrow victory in this game v a very strong St Coleman’s team

Our ladies lost to a strong carrigtwohill team in the final but played some great football and never gave up trying. Well done girls.

U12 

Carrigtwohill 4-5

Lisgoold 1-4

A much better performance than the scoreline suggests. In our U12’s first match of the season they got off to a slow start and found themselves behind by 10 points after the first quarter. After that they settled into the game and were more than a match for Carrig for the rest of the hour. Showing  great heart and fighting spirit they never stopped trying right to the last kick of the game. They can take a lot of confidence from this match as they head into a new season.

Cork players

Well done to Lainey O Sullivan who scored a point in the U16 win over Kerry last weekend and to Aine Hallahan who came on and played a part in the win over Tipperary at minor level.
