Return to Play With Safety In Mind
We experienced a delay in the return of our underage teams due to an increase in the Covid numbers in the locality. We need to be vigilant as we return and request that our players and parents (who wish to remain pitch side) to complete the health questionnaire prior to leaving home on www.returntoplay.gaa.ie using the same log in and password.
Completing this questionnaire helps ensure all our safety. Please check out the new features of the app which has been upgraded to a complete club package. You can complete your health questionnaire as usual but you can now do much more in the system such as creating a family group so parents can easily complete Covid health checks and checking when our club events such as training and matches are scheduled.
We also request that our players complete the Covid Awareness training before coming back. We have included resources on our Club Facebook for our players and parents to support a safe return.
We are looking forward to getting our adult players back to training in pods of fifteen as per the GAA and Covid guidelines from next week. Games will not be allowed at this time and indoor facilities must remain closed. We are hoping that from June 7th (subject to the Public Health situation at the time) – club games will be permitted at all levels but must be played “behind closed doors”.
New players in all age categories are very welcome. Please contact Sheila Dennehy (086 409 6735) for the contact details of your relevant team manager. See training times below.
