U8 Girls Camogie Blitz

On Saturday morning last, our u7S & u8s had an internal football and camogie blitz in glorious weather in Pynes pitch.
36 girls participated, showing great skills and huge improvement from their work at trainings and at home. We also had 8 girls taking up the goalkeeping positions, giving an exhibition on the day. Well done girls!
Huge thanks to Paul Radley for providing goody bags for all teams and to all who helped out in any way on the day. 
Training continues Monday’s at 6.30pm and Saturdays at 11.15am. If any girls that would like to join that were born in 2012 or 2013 are more than welcome. Contact any Bride Rovers Ladies Club officer/mentor for more information.

Senior Ladies Football Championship 2020:

Our Senior Ladies football team kicked off their 2020 season on a winning note defeating St Vals in Rathcormac on Friday last on a score line of 4.9 to 2.11.Our ladies fought hard and came out deserving winners against a strong St Vals team. Well done to all on the night on a great win. Our next fixture is the weekend of the 8th August away to Kinsale. 

Guess the Score fundraiser:

Bride Rovers Ladies Football and Camogie club are hosting a ‘Guess the Score’ fundraiser for the Cork Senior Hurling Championship fixture between Bride Rovers and Ballymartle on Saturday the 1st of August 2020 at 5pm. €2 per line and sponsorship cards are available from team mentors or contact 087 2986625. First prize €100. Cards have been distributed to all players and mentors. This is a very important fundraiser for the club. All proceedings go toward the running of the club and unfortunately, Bride Rovers Ladies club have been forced to cancel our annual Bag Pack and Street Collections so all support from this fundraiser is vital. Please support if possible. Please return cards/money raised to your mentors/club officers before Friday 31.07.20. Thanks to all those who have already returned cards and for your support in this fundraiser. NOTE: All cards must be returned before the match – committee decision is final. 

U14 Camogie 

Our U14 girls played Kilworth in an exciting challenge game last Thursday evening coming out on top by 1 point in what was a fantastic game of camogie by both teams. Well done to all involved on the night.
