u16a
This u16a East Cork football league match between Rockban & Glanmire was played in Rathpeacon on Sunday morning (6th of May). Both the weather conditions and the underfoot conditions were good. We played good football in the first half, getting some well-worked scores, and went into half time leading 0:04 to 3:10. We made a number of changes at half time, bringing on 3 subs. We continued to dominate the game in the second half, again playing some good football and getting more well taken scores. Both sides made further substitutions through the half – we emptied our bench with 15 minutes to go. We eventually ran out as winners on a score of 1:07 to 6:16 – qualifying for the league semi-final at the top of the table as a result of this victory in our final match of the league.
