Cork Senior Ladies into another League Final
Cork Senior Ladies qualified for the final of the Lidl National League on Saturday last with a 6 point win over Dublin at the splendid venue Nolan Park in Kilkenny. After a slow start the Cork ladies were level at 3 point each after 14 minutes when a goal from Eimear Scally put them well in the driving seat and see them lead 1-10 to 0-06. Dublin improved in the second period but Cork went on to win 1-16 to 0-13.Cork will now play Donegal in the final to be played on Sunday week. Donegal will be slight favourites as they had a large winning margin over Galway in the other semi final and also defeated Cork in the league in a game played in Mallow a few weeks ago but Cork have the experience and it should make an interesting tie.
