Glanmire ladies football is well and truly back in to match mode, with u14, u16 and junior taking to the field this weekend past.

U14b league:

Glanmire 5-8  Cloyne 2-9

A great performance in a windy bucklearys. Anna Kelleher in goal with ella o brien, tara eliot, eve hogan, evie twomey, abby furlong and lucy greene up front were excellent for the glanmire side, but all 19 girls were great and had to fight hard for the win

A strong Glanmire u16’s team beat youghal Sunday last in the pike.
While our junior team traveled to aghada losing out by 1 point.

Well done to our girls who played with the Cork U14 and U16 teams over last weekend. Caragh Byrne, Orlaith Roche and Gabby Cashman resposented glanmire on the Cork u14 team while the u16 Cork team had Shauna Murphy, Abbie O Mahony, Kayla O Connor and Ellen Baker from the glanmire.
Glanmire ladies football club and glanmire juvenile club has come together this year to run a Spinathon in conjunction with Mary Mount hospice,  anyone who would like to take a spot can book with Sheila on 0874146690 or Gerry on 0862379028, spins are €10 for 45mins given by qualified instructors in the pike field gym (Sallybrook).  A great day filled with prizes and fun is a definite.
Well done to all the girls who celebrated Patricks day again this year, by walking in the upper glanmire parade. We would like to thank Upper glanmire committe for having us again this year all the girls and parents had a great time.
