OUR CLUB MEDALS PRESENTATION NIGHT
Inch Rovers U8 to Minors medal  presentation night for 2016 season is on  this  Saturday the 11th March  from  7pm to 10:30pm in the Quality Hotel Redbarn Youghal. Medals , food, tea, coffee etc, and entertainment only €10. U10  €5.

Our senior Ladies Panel played their first league game Vs Fermoy with storm Ewan in background , it was great game & well done to all the panel , there was some great scores in both half’s with 8 of the panel taking scores , J O Shea 0-5 L Williams 0-3 A Walsh, R Goggin , N O Brien, C Scanell, N O Donovan, C Daly 0-1 each next league game Vs Mourneabbey at killeagh date Tbc

Hard luck to Our U21 Panel & mentors Sheila Dennehy Scanlon Tomas Goggin Danyell Ní Shé & James Maunsell yesterday Vs Valley Rovers 2-3 to 3-11 well done to all the panel ye all played very well on the day in trying conditions &  as ye are very young it’s more or less our minor panel bar 2 players ,but the disappointing thing is this was knockout competition so there are no more games U21 that’s it yesterday unfortunately ..
CLUB REGISTRATION NIGHT
Our club Registration night went very well last night , we had a good turn out considering the weather & roadworks ,thanks to all who registered with Tomas , Sharon & myself on the night &  were entered in free draw for club hoodie & 2 healthy packs , the winner of Hoodie is Ella Fleming , & Olive Griffin & Chloe Lane won healthy pack each , well done , thanks to Sheila Dennehy Scanlon who looked after the club hoodies orders & which can be still  ordered from Sheila  all ages to adult : €32 children sizes & €36 adult sizes with club crest & initials included , these  would want to be ordered as soon as possible as order going in soon, club shorts are €15 & size 26/28 30/32 34/36 available to buy now .. All who have not registered you will have to do so as soon as possible if your not registered you cannot play as you are not covered by insurance & each coach will have a list of registered & unregistered players & will be enforcing this so please contact your coach or any committee members for registration forms ,U8/10 €40 U12-MINOR  €55 & Senior €80 NON PLAYER  €45 ,  it’s also important to note all players must wear gum Shields this year from U8 to Seniors , thanks from all Inch Rovers Committee…
HEALTHY CLUBS MENTAL FITNESS WORKSHOP

KILLEAGH CLUBS MENTAL FITNESS WORKSHOP – “Getting your head right for games and for life” takes place in  Páirc Uí Chinnéide Clubhouse on Wednesday March 15th. There will be two one-hour workshops, the first for teenagers aged 12-16 (7.00 – 8.00 p.m.) and the second one for minor and adult players aged 16+ (8.00 – 9.00 p.m.). These interactive workshops are facilitated by expert Samaritans volunteers, and all players from all four clubs are encouraged to attend. Posters are around Páirc Uí Chinnéide and in the usual real and virtual places.
KILLEAGH HEALTHY CLUBS 4 MILE ROAD RACE IN CONJUNCTION WITH YOUGHAL AC
Killeagh Clubs , Killeagh Ita’s , Inch Rovers ladies football , Killeagh Camogie & Killeagh gaa would like to thank sincerely everyone who participated in any way be it in the race or stewarding water stations , tea ladies all who provided food & fruit & refreshments for our community road race this year. The event was a huge success and we are looking forward & planning for next year already. Many thanks again.

We have a busy schedule for the next few weeks in the Healthy Clubs Project. Here are some of our upcoming events and activities.
CRAFT ‘n’ CHAT continues every Monday morning in March from 10.00-12.00 in Páirc Uí Chinnéide Clubhouse. We had a very promising opening session last Monday, would you like to join us for all types of craft along with a cuppa and a chat with new and old friends? SCHOOLS’ COMPETITION – Details were distributed to all primary school children this week about our Healthy Clubs Competition. Children are asked to write an essay, write a poem, design a poster, or create a comic-strip story on the theme: “How can we be healthy at home, in school, and in our community?” Children can create their entry at home or in school, and there will be prizes in each of the four schools. Closing date is Friday March 24th – get thinking and get creating, boys and girls!
