Sunday: ECB Fé 12 C Final Carrigtwohill 4-2 Eirns Own 1-5

Last Sunday Carrigtwohill and Eirns Own met in the East Cork Fé 12 C Final. From the throw in both teams missed a couple of chances before Carrigtwohill scored two points, then Eirns Own started to dominate and scored 4 points with out reply. Carrigtwohill regrouped and scored to a goal to lead on a scoreline of 1-2 to 0-04. Coming up to half time Eirns Own score a point to bring the teams level. On the stroke of half, Carrigtwohill were award a free and went in a half time leading 1-3 to 0-5.

On the resumption of the second talk Carrigtwohill took control and scored to lead on a score line of 3-3 to 0-5. Eirns Own began to rally and score a goal to bring the score to 3-3 to 1-5. The game to and flowed before Carrigtwohill score a goal to lead on a score line of 4-3 to 1-5. Carrigtwohill ran out winners on a score line of 4-3 to 1-5.

Sunday: ECB Fé 16 Semi Final Carrigtwohill 1-9 Eirns Own 1-10

Wed 26th Oct: Sciath na Scol Final Carrigtwohil 3-3 GS de h-íde 4-2
The majority of the Fé 12 were on duty again for Scoil Chlochair Mhuire in the Sciath Na Scol final, against GS de h-íde. This was a tough contest after a good start Scoil Chlochair Mhuire lead on a score line of 1-0 to 0-1. After late rally by GS de h-íde saw they lead at half time on scoreline of 3-1 to 1-1

At the restart Scoil Chlochair Mhuire upped their game and going into the final minutes lead on a scoreline of 3-3 to 3-1. Sport can be a cruel at times and in final minutes of stoppage time GS de-híde score 1-1 without reply to win final.

Quiz Night
Quiz night on November 5th in Fota Golf Club @ 8:30 pm. It is €20 for a table of 4. This is one of main fundraising event all support would grateful.
