East Cork Ladies’ Football U 8 Blitz.
Glanmire Ladies’ Football hosted the East Cork Ladies’ Football U 8 end of year blitz on Saturday last.
The Weather was lovely, conditions were perfect and the sport and football was thrilling to say the least. Most clubs from all over East Cork were represented with some clubs having two teams and everyone was a winner on the day. How many Cork stars of the future were on show is any ones guess but from what I saw I suspect they all could go on to greater things. Well done girls and thanks for all the enjoyment you have given us right through out the year .Thanks to the Mams and Dads for your support as without you there would be no games for our children.
Well done and thanks also to Glanmire Ladies’ Football club for all the hard work and effort put in to finish the year on such a high. The food was superb as always and at the end of the day every girl went home with a medal and a goodie bag. Thanks to Cork stars who gave of their time to present the medals Niamh Cotter, Jess O Shea and Shauna Cronin from the senior side and Kate Hannon and Grace Culloty from the Minor All Ireland winning side.
