East Cork Teams take all U 12 County titles
Two weeks ago Youghal and Fermoy won the County A & B U 12 County championship titles respectively this weekend Aghada and Bride Rovers won the C & the D county titles. Bride Rovers defeated Bishopstown on Saturday in the “D” County final and on Sunday Aghada defeated Donoughmore in the “C” Final Congratulations to all Clubs a great achievement for the East Cork division. Three of the 4 county champions will now be involved in the East Cork A championship which will take place this week with some great football in prospect.
Cork Senior Ladies Football Team Homecoming
Cork seniors were welcomed home the Monday night after the final. Many thanks to all who braved the elements to applaud these very special ladies Well done to the East Cork teams who won County titles who were introduced to the crowd before the All Ireland champions arrived home .Youghal U 12 A county Champions, Fermoy U 12 B county Champions, Midleton U 14 C county champions and Carrigtwohill U 16 D county champions

Lisgoold “D” Champions who overcame Glanmire b to take the title
Well done and thanks to Ber O Callaghan and all at Watergrasshill Ladies Football Club for hosting the finals. It was an outstanding success with all girls coming home with a medal and a goody bag.
Thanks & well done also to Na Piarsaigh Ladies Football Club for hosting the non qualifiers U 10 end of year blitz also on Saturday. Teams had another great day with all girls receiving medals on the day
U 8 End of Year Blitz
The East Cork Ladies Football U 8 end of year blitz will take place in Glanmire next Saturday At this stage 16 teams are entered so a great days entertainment is expected.
Well Done
Well done to Lisgoold/ Leamlara Ladies football Club who hosted their annual Junior 7 a side competition on Sunday.
Well done to Aghada Junior side who won the Junior league on Sunday last and well done to Fermoy senior side who advance to the Munster semi final in the senior plate competition .Hard luck to Inch Rovers senior side who were defeated by St Vals in the final of the senior championship Mourneabbey defeated West Cork Ladies in the other semi Final.

The Sudden and untimely death of our colleague Dominic Rooney has shocked and saddened the entire community in East Cork. We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife and family.
