Cork Ladies’ Football Summer Camp In Midleton A Great Success

Cork Ladies Football Summer Camp in Midleton

Well done and thanks to Orlagh Farmer and her team for a tremendous week of football and fun in Midleton.
The weather was perfect and nearly 100 girls from all over East Cork including Aghada, Carrigtwohill, Lisgoold, Midleton, St Colman’s, Inch Rovers and a large group from St Nicks turned out . Working with Orlagh were other members of the Cork senior and minor squads and all the girls were delighted to get to know the stars of Cork Ladies football. Thanks to Hurleys Supervalu Midleton for sponsoring water and treats for the girls.
On Thursday Laura Cleary and other members of the Victorious Cork minor team brought the All Ireland Cup and this also went down a treat.
At the end of the 4 day camp a Cork Jersey was presented to every girl and with Cork senior ladies playing well who would bet against them to reach the All Ireland Final again this year

Next Monday the last of the Cork Ladies ‘ Football Camps will be held in Fermoy so if you missed this week of if you wish to go again no problem be in Fermoy GAA Pitch on Monday at 10am
