Aghada Ladies’ Football Club looks back on another great year.
A great crowd gathered for our Annual General Meeting which was held in Rostellan recently. Secretary Barry Moran read a comprehensive report on the year’s activities which was one of the best years the club has had. Following a discussion his report was adopted. We would like to thank Barry for his work as secretary over the last three years. He did a professional job and we wish him the very best in his new position as Registrar of the Cork County Ladies Board. Also to Marie Wall and Reece Bawden we say thanks for your help with the club down through the years and no doubt we will see you all helping out in some other role in the future.
We would also like to wish Eoin O’Neill the very best of luck in his new role as Cork Senior Football Selector. A big task after leading the U-12’s to a County Title this year…
The following are the executive for the 2016 season:
Chairperson Paul Fitzpatrick, Vice Chairperson Liam Robinson, Secretary Anne Marie Mc Allister, and Treasurer Michelle O’ Driscoll, PRO Cathal Mc Allister and Registrar Laura Burchill.
Two dates to keep in mind: January 1st is the day for the long kick in Whitegate a great family day out and our annual social in association with the Camogie club will take place on the 30th of January (Not to be missed).
So on behalf of Aghada Ladies Football Club I would like to thank everyone for their help through out 2015 and may I wish all families, supporters, sponsors and most important the players a Happy, Peaceful and Wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you all in January for another busy year on the fields of play… Áth Fháda Abú
