Congratulations and well done to the Cork Senior Ladies team who defeated Monaghan in a close contest on Sunday to win the All Ireland Senior Ladies Football title for 2013.
The Team was captained by Ann Marie Walsh of Inch Rovers and guided by Eamonn Ryan and his great back room team. Every Club in East Cork brought supporters to Croke Park on Sunday and what a great family day out it was. Thanks to one and all who came and especially the organisers from every club. Despite being tired after the long trip over 1000 people turned out in Cork on Monday night to welcome home the victorious Cork team and while the weather was poor the atmosphere was electric. The large crowd were also introduced to the team members from the victorious U 14, U-16, Minor and U 21 panels. After that it was down to Inch Community centre for a great night of Music and entertainment put on by the inch Rovers Club well done to all concerned.
East Cork was very well represented on the Cork panel and we say thanks and very well done to you all.
