Lisgoold / Leamlara Ladies’ Football Club Hold Junior 7s Tournament

Well done to Lisgoold Ladies’ Football Club for holding their annual Junior 7s tournament on Sunday last .Organisation was top class with six East Cork teams taking part.
Carrigtwohill, Cobh, Erin’s Own, Lisgoold, Midleton and Youghal all turned out for an afternoon of great excitement and entertainment with all the ladies putting in a great effort in what is a very demanding game.
Midleton eventually came out on top but it is not all about winning or loosing and should be about having fun. The Ladies Gaelic Football Association provides a social outlet and a healthy activity for thousands of people and this was very evident in Lisgoold on Sunday last.

U 16 “C”  Championship Final

Well done to both Na Piarsaigh and Carrigtwohill for a super U 16 “C” East Cork final on Saturday last. Congratulations to Carrigtwohill who won by the narrowest of margins to complete the league and championship double.

U 12 “A” Championship final (replay)

Congratulations to Glanmire who just came out on top in  the U 12 “A” East Cork  championship final replay with Inch Rovers. This was another outstanding game played at a frantic pace by two sides on top of their game and it was easy to see why both teams are county champions
