Lisgoold/Leamlara Ladies Football Club are holding the Phil McCarthy Perpetual Shield Junior 7’s Competition on the 25th of October at 12pm.
The blitz will be in the following format:
Teams: 7-a-side (up to 3 subs). (Panel of 10) Subs may come on and off as many times as they want but one at a time using the transfer of a baton between the 2 players. (all subs must stay in an area which will be outlined at the half way line either side of the pitch.) Clubs who have bigger numbers may bring a second team but please inform us of this when confirming attendance. (Clubs must confirm by email)
Grade: Open to Grades Junior C or Lower. Teams who are a higher grade may send a B Team. We would like this blitz to be competitive and each team to get the most out of it.
Fee: €30/Team. Bring Fee with you on the day. It can be paid in cash or cheque. Cheques made out to Lisgoold/Leamlara Ladies Football Club.
Game Time: 10 mins a side. Quick water break between and change over. (FINAL 15MINS A SIDE)
Pitches: For all games leading up to the final, training pitch and main pitch will be marked out to the same size and smaller goals will be used. The final will be played in the main pitch. (same pitch size as other games.)
Refreshments: Refreshments will be provided on the day.
IF YOU COULD PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING BY WEDNESDAY 14TH OF OCTOBER AT THE LATEST. ONCE WE KNOW HOW MANY TEAMS ARE ATTENDING WE WILL FORWARD YOU ON TIMES AND OPPONENTS ETC. WE CAN ONLY FACILITATE 8 TEAMS (INCLUDING OURSELVES) SO PLACES AVAILABLE ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.
