U 10 East Cork finals

Youghal was the venue for the U 10 East Cork Ladies’ Football Finals

In the A final the host club Youghal just edged out their neighbours Inch Rovers in a very exciting and close contest. Inch were ahead for most of the match but the Youghal girls never gave up and came with a very late surge to take the title. Well done to both sides for a great game.

The B Final between Watergrasshill and Fermoy was postponed due to bereavement in the Fermoy club and will be played this Saturday at 1130 in Watergrasshill.

Lisgoold and Midleton faced each other in the C final and this was a very close contest with players showing all the skills of ladies football and both sides displaying some wonderful football. The sides were locked together at full time but both agreed to play extra time which was equally as thrilling as the game itself. .In the end the sides could not be separated and have agreed to share the title for the year

The “D” final saw Glanmire defeat Bride Rovers in another super game with only a kick of a ball separating them at the end. Well done to both sides for giving us another great game of football.
