On Saturday last Glanmire and Inch Rovers won the U 12 “A” & ”B” County championship titles and Watergrasshill are in the U 12 “C” Final with Aghada and Erin’s Own will contest the “D” final.

Glanmire faced Nemo Rangers in The “A” final in Passage .Nemo had the better of the opening ten minutes but the Glanmire backs stood firm and held them scoreless A goal from Emma Mulcahy set Glanmire on their way as they began to take over in all quarters leading at the break 1-05 to no score. Nemo rallied in the second half but the Glanmire girls pulled away with the help of two further goals to emerge victorious on a scorline 3-09 to 1-01

Earlier in the Morning in Rostellan Inch Rovers took on Fermoy in the County U 12 “B” decider. From the throw in Inch dominated and scored two goals early on which set the tone for the rest of the encounter. To be fair Fermoy never gave up and tried their best but the Inch girls led by Emma Landers who scored 3 04 were very strong in all quarters and ran out easy winners on a score line 4-08 to 0-04
The “C” county final between Watergrasshill and Naomh Fionnbarra was postponed on Sunday due to the poor weather and is re fixed for Friday Oct 2nd in Eire Óg GAA pitch in Ovens at 6 pm The “D” Final between Aghada and Erin’s Own will probably be on the same weekend.
