Almost 50 girls attended the Cork Development Summer camp which was held Killeagh earlier in the week. Despite some rattles of thunder in the distance the weather was mainly dry and sunny. Cork under age coach Charlie McLaughlin put the girls through their paces and was extremely pleased with the amount of talented players on view. Well done to Inch Rovers Ladies’ Football club who hosted the event and Sheila Scanlon was on hand to make a small presentation to Eimear Meaney and Kate Leneghan cork minor players who helped out during the week. The Cork Development camp will run in Fermoy on Monday August 17th to 19th starting at 9 30 am
Best of luck to Cork Senior Ladies who play Meath in the All Ireland qualifiers in Thurles at 3 pm on Monday August 3rd and the very best of luck to the Minor squad and management who play Galway in the All Ireland Final at 4 45pm also in Semple Stadium.
