BRIDE ROVERS LADIES GAELIC FOOTBALL AND CAMOGIE CLUB
Week ending 2nd August 2015

Senior Championship v Donoughmore
Bride Rovers Senior Ladies will play Donoughmore in their second round robin game of this years championship on Thursday evening at7.30pm in Rathcormac.
Having won our opening game v Eire Og on June 9th after an impressive performance in which we scored 3-18, hopes are high that we can continue where we left off.
A win over Donoughmore will ensure qualification for the Senior A quarter finals.
There are one or two injury concerns but there is now a strong panel to choose from which creates competition for all places on the team.
All support would be appreciated on the night.

Junior Football:
Bride Rovers 7-19 Mitchelstown 1-8
In what can be only described as an awesome display of football, our junior footballers ran out easy winners in our latest county championship game against Mitchelstown. We got off to a tremendous start with early goals from Elaine Culloty and Meg Kelleher, and our defenders were also well on top in every area. Three more goals and points from all 6 forwards left us 5-11 to 1-3 in the lead at half time. We continued in the same stream in the second half with Grainne Noonan adding two more goals, and Colette, Michelle and Catherine to the fore in adding more points to our tally, leaving an impressive final scoreline of 7-19 to 1-8.
Every one of the players involved in the game played superbly, and the support play, passing, defending and attacking was absolutely top drawer. If we continue to play this type of football, we’ll be a match for any team. Up next we are away to Carrigtwohill in the county championship with a date for the game to be finalised in the next few days.
