U 8 Girls
Venue: Lisgoold
Date: 06/06/2015
Opposition: Midleton U-8
Saturday last saw the first competitive outing for our U-8 Girls in the 2015 season.
We took on a strong and competitive Midleton side in an excellent game of open football.
The were a lot of positives to be taken from the game on the day, with great enthusiasm and energy displayed by all 14 squad players through out the game.
In goal Sophie made a key number of saves. The defensive partnership of Kate, Caoimhe, Thea, Clodagh and Lucy worked hard to stop the Midleton attack. Erika, Niamh and Megan in midfield worked tirelessly tracking back to defend and supporting the attack. Up front Abbey, Aoibhe, Ava, Haidee and Ruby made most of the attacking oppertunities with a number of efforts on goal.
So in synopsis, a great game by all the squad with invaluable learning’s from the first outing of the year.
