Bride Rovers Ladies Football and Camogie Club Notes
Week ending 26th April 2015
U14 Football
On Tuesday evening, we played at home to Rockban. It took us a while to settle into the game and Rockban were the dominant team in the first half, notching up a tally of 3-6 to Rovers’ 1-1. Our girls were much more focused in the second half in terms of passing and competing for every ball, and scores from Katie, Anna and Shauna narrowed the gap to just five points. Ella pulled off some crucial saves in goal and with ten minutes to go there were three points between the teams. It looked for a while like we might snatch a victory but Rockban held tough and won on a scoreline of 3-12 to 4-4.
