CLUB CELEBRATES 30 YEARS
Our club has stood the test of time and is growing from strength to strength . A great night of celebration and fun and dancing ensued in the Walter Raleigh Hotel on 14th Feb ..Our new club President Mr.Willie O Neill was presented with his chain of office and presented medals to all age groups from U8 to U16 , the highlight being the superb win of U12 A County & East cork league , our U16s East Cork League and winnersof Mary & Mollie tournament , U8 & 10 winners in blitz in passage , and East Cork for U10s as well , U14s won the Sheila Sheild ,past & present photos were on display all night as was footage of some of the earlier games 30 years ago, thanks to Willie O Mahoney for organising same , thanks to all the committee and all the coaches , selectors players parents and everone who helped to make this night a huge success , thanks to the Walter Raleigh Hotel for hospitality and lovely food ,DJ David O Keeffe Sharon Roche beautiful cake club chairwoman,past & present players and coaches and founding member , heres to another 30 years and more for Inch Rovers …

Huge Congratulations to Sheila Dennehy Scanlon who is a Cork U14 Selector 2015 and Aine O Driscoll who is on the panel ..Cork U 14 played Kerry in first round of championship and had comprehensive win over them , well done Sheila & Aine .. Also to Rose Goggin who made the Cork U16 Panel ..well done Rose
Registration Night was a huge success and on the night there was a free ticket given to all who registered for a beautiful array of prizes kindly donated & sponsored and a cheque was presented to East Cork Rapid Response events manager John Coleman on the night from our Ice Bucket Challenge , they will come tothe club in the near future to explain the superb work they carry out and show the response car and equipment , we are looking forward to that and fundraising for them again in the near future …
Our U16 to Seniors are going to do the Darkness into Light Walk in Midleton for Pieta House Cork on 9th May 4;30 am and anyone in the parish are invited to join us ..
All age groups are back training now U8 to seniors , our U14 have completed three games in the league having won 2 and lost 1 , our U16s have played 3 league games so far Erins Owen , Midleton & Fermoy we have 2 wins and 1 loss

Our seniors have played 2 league games ST.Vals & Eire Og and have suffered 2 losses however with injuries inter county and work commitments full panel not available at moment so early days yet , we want to wish new Senior Manager Bryan Mc Carthy and his co selectors the very best of luck for 2015 and Senior Captain Danielle O Shea
Well done to our Club Ladies involed with Cork Seniors Annie Walsh and Jessica O Shea who have had 3wins out of 4 in the League so far ..
The Club wished all the club ladies involved with their respective teams in the Senior A All Ireland Colleges Championship ‘The O Connor& Lynch Cup ‘ @ CIT on Friday & Saturday next Jessica O’Shea , Aoife Walsh with Cit , Kate Harrington , Tralee IT , Lideea Nic Uilliam UCC , Sarah Harrington Mary Immaculate & fellow Cork Player Emma Farmer Captain of CIT , from all in Inch Rovers , this competition was on in Belfast last year and Danielle O’Shea was Captain of CIT …
