Lisgoold/Leamlara Ladies’Football Club
Our junior ladies play a challenge game this Friday night in Kildorrery at 7.30pm. Leaving Lisgoold at 6.15pm.
Training continues for all age groups:-
U8s – Saturday in Leamlara Hall @ 10am
U10s – Friday in Lisgoold Hall @ 6.30pm
U12s – Wednesday in Lisgoold Hall @ 6pm
U14s – Thursday in Leamlara Hall @ 8pm
Junior Ladies – Friday in Carrigtwohill at 6.30pm
All training sessions are for 1 hour. Please remember to bring water, gum shield and €2.00.
Lisgoold/Leamlara Ladies Football Club are participating in the Lisgoold St. Patricks Day Parade on 17th March @ 1pm. All members are asked to walk wearing their club jersey. Meeting in the GAA grounds at 12.15pm as the road will be closed @ 12.30pm. Limited parking available in Church Yard, Thatch Car Park and the cross of Lisgoold.

Youth Club
Donal Walsh Live Life Marathon is being run on Good Friday at 6.30pm. This is being opened up to all clubs and individuals in the parish or surrounding areas who would like to participate. Participants have the option to do 1, 2, or 6 KM as a group. Full details will be provided closer to the time. All participants will be required to donate a minimum of €2 although we would hope to raise significantly more. Parents and other family members will be welcome to participate. If you would like to be involved, please send your details to youth club phone with the distance that you would like to walk/run. This event will start at 6.30pm on Good Friday.
There will be light refreshments in the hall afterward in the community hall.
Alan Whelan and Saerlaith Walsh will be representing Lisgoold,Cork and Ireland in the forthcoming World Irish Dancing Championships in Montreal at end of March..Alan is dancing in U12 competition and will dance Reel and Heavy Jig.Saerlaith will dance in U16 competition and dance Slip Jig and Heavy Jig.Good luck to them both

Congratulations to our U21 boys – Castlegoold – on beating Dungourney in the semi-final of the football Championship. They play Castlelyons in the final – the weekend of the 20th March – check locally for confirmation of fixture.
