Teams
U14
The U14 girls played their first match 07/02/2015, away to Carrigtwohill. With new trainers and 9 girls making their debut appearance at U14, it was always going to be a learning curve experience. The final score was 3-10 to 1-4 to Carrigtwohill. With only two training sessions under our belt our lack of fitness was very evident and we were slow out of the blocks, some reassuring words and encouraging advice from the trainer on the side line got the girls on track, putting in a much more impressive 2nd half performance, our backs and goalie put in formidable displays and we had quite a few wide’s which, if corrected would be very telling, overall it was an enjoyable match showing plenty of potential for the year ahead. Well done to all, onwards and upwaU16
Erin Nagle and Sarah Murphy both played for Midleton in their first league game against Erin’s Own last Saturday. Unfortunately Midleton were beaten on the day. Hard luck girls! Chins up.

Scór na bPaistí
Congratulations to Aoife Brosnan who represented Lisgoold/Leamlara Ladies Football in Aithriseoireacht at the Scór na bPaistí. Aoife did extremely well to get into the semi-finals but unfortunately was unable to make it through to the final in Lisgoold on Friday night. We are extremely proud of her and her performance. We have no doubt she we do very well in future competitions. Well done Aoife.
