Lisgoold Junior Ladies 7’s Tournament was a roaring success today. 5 teams turned out (despite the rain) and a great day was had by all. Lisgoold, Carrigtwohill A, Carrigtwohill B, Cobh and Erin’s Own competed. There was some great games with skill, hard work and determination on show but also there was fun and banter. The final was contested between Erin’s Own and Carrigtwohill B with Erin’s Own running out deserved winners having been undefeated all day. We extend our Congratulations to Erin’s Own Team and Management for their achievement.

Congratulations to Lisgooold U17 panel on Winning team Eoin McCarthy Cup in the final against Donoughmore. Team Darragh Fleming, Sean Nagle, Fergal Roche, Sean Whelan, Kieran Cashman, Ciaran O Shea, Rian Hogan, Caolan O Brien, Caomhan O Shea, Jonathan Murray, Luke Morrissey.
Congratulations to the Lisgoold junior men on capturing the football league title. Well done.

Full Time Leamlara are scaith na scoil champions on a score line of 4-0 to 1-4. Congratulations all involved.
Commiserations to boys and girls of Ballincurrig NS who were defeated in their Sciath na Scoil finals. result: Boys final
1-6 to 0-4 Girls final 3-4 to 0-0. Congratulations to all involved for getting both teams to the final. We are all so proud of your achievement. Maybe next year you will go all the way. Chins up

Congratulations to Sarah Murphy Orla Fleming and Erin Nagle who all played for Midleton in their win over Fermoy in the under 14 championship final well done proud of you.

Commiserations to Liam O Shea and Midleton CBS you lost to New Ross 0-22 to 0-15 after extra time. You did us proud.

The development in the GAA grounds commenced on Monday, November 24th. We would like to thank all those who have supported us in our fundraising so far and we look forward to your continued support over the coming years. The standing order scheme of €2 per week per family has been the backbone of the fundraising as it is a constant income showing in the bank account which has enabled us to get loan approval.
Anyone interested in setting up a standing order, please contact the club phone for paperwork to be forwarded to you. Other forms of income have been made up of the sale of calendars, the golf classic, cash for clobber.

Congratulations to Niamh Power who won the U16 camogie county championship with Sarsfields. Well done. We are proud of you.
Congratulations to John Cronin on his Munster GAA award for intermediate hurling. Well done from all in the ladies club.
Congratulations to Alan Whelan and Saerlaith Walsh who both qualified for the world championships in Irish Dancing which will take place in Canada in March 2015. Well done from all at the ladies club.
Congratulations to Laura Whelan on winning the Scór na Nóg county final for recitation. We wish her the best of luck in the Munster semi-final which takes place on Sunday the 4th of January in Cashel at 2pm from all in the ladies club. Congratulations also to Laura, Dara, Alan, Aaron, Rachel, Cara-Sue, Jessica and Aoife who came 2nd in the county final in the sketch. Well done to all.
Congratulations to John Cashman and Rob Smart who won the all ireland intermediate hurling league with CIT defeating DIT 3-21 to 1-12. Well done lads!!
