Congratulations Inch Rovers U 12 “A” County Champions
Congratulations Glanmire U 12 “C” County Champions
Congratulations Aghada U 12 “D” County Champions

U 12 “A” County Final
Inch Rovers 2-06 Erin’s Own 0-08
Not for the first time two East Cork teams contested the county final of the U 12 “A” Tesco Home Grown championship as Inch Rovers and Erin’s Own played a high class and sporting final in Midleton.
Well Done to Inch Rovers who came with a late flourish to take the title from a gallant Erin’s Own team who were the title holders in 2013. Erin’s Own battled hard and played their hearts out but eventually were overcome by a superb Inch squad who really wanted the win after a very tough and emotional few weeks in their club.

U 12 “C” County final.
Glanmire 6-06 Ballinora 3-04
Glanmire overcame Ballinora in the final of the Tesco Homegrown U 12 “C” championship played in Passage. This was another exciting game with Glanmire trailing at half time but their second half display was terrific as time and time again they came down the field scoring six goals in total. Well done to Ballinora who battled hard but the superior fitness of the Glanmire girls was the difference.
U 12 “D” County Final

Aghada3-09 Kilshannig 1-09
They say goals win matches and this was very true in the final of the Tesco Homegrown U 12 “D County Championship played on Saturday last in Donoughmore. Aghada scored three to Kilshannig one goal and this was the difference in the end. In arguably the most exciting of the U 12 county finals both sides played lovely open fast and exciting football. Tied at half time the second half was end to end stuff with the East Cork girls scoring the vital goals in the closing minutes to seal victory. Congratulations to Aghada who have a great record at this age group over the last few years.
