Girls Under 8
A glorious evening of sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for a fantastic evening of Football last Monday night. Our U8 Ladies Football team lined out in great numbers to provide parents, coaches and spectators with an amazing performance. A big thank you to all who made the trip to Na Piarsaigh Hurling and Football Club .We received a warm welcome and made new friends both on and off the field, a reflection of the spirit in which these games are played. A Go Game structure was employed with zones allowing the girls to learn in a safe and fun environment. A blistering opening seven minute spell saw the Midleton Girls soak up a lot of pressure from a strong na Piarsaigh midfield, however with mighty heart and strength these heroes turned the game around and lead from the front for the remainder of the game. Our Midleton Girls took to the field in the second half with grit and determination to succeed. An outstanding performance saw Midleton put Na Piarsaigh on the back foot.
