U-17 Academy Programme 2014

 

Cork Ladies Football are delighted to launch the U-17 Academy Training Programme for all eligible girls born in the year 1997. This is the first time Cork Ladies Football have run such a programme with the specific emphasis on player development through structured coaching and practical sessions.

The overall aim of this programme is to provide our future stars with high quality training, potentially leading to future selection with Cork Minor and Senior Squads.

The programme will be delivered in July 2014 by qualified coaches, including current Cork Senior Stars.

To participate in this Cork Academy Training Programme, we would ask that each club, preferably the current club minor coach to nominate 3 players born in the year 1997. These selected players from each club may have represented Cork previously or have ambitions to play with the county in the future.

Please nominate no more than 3 players (with a contact number) and send the selected list back to me at corkladiesdev@gmail.com

Provisionally, these July sessions will take place in the UCC Farm Grounds at 6pm on Wednesday 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th July. Please note that these times may be subject to change. It is advised that all participants arrive to the UCC Farm Grounds no later than 5.45pm each evening.

Each player that attends these sessions will have the opportunity to represent Cork on Thursday 7th August in Dublin (further details to follow).
