Senior/Junior Ladies Football

Our adult players played their first match of 2014 last Sunday, March 9th in Pynes against neighbours Fermoy. This was a useful prep game for both sides as they prepare for upcoming league fixtures. Our seniors first league game is against Gabriel Rangers and our juniors first opposition is scheduled to be Lisgoold.

Aghada 3-10       Bride Rovers 4-9

We had our expected tough opening East Cork U16A league fixture away to Aghada on Sunday. It did not look good for our girls at half-time as they trailed by 7 points but we rallied in the second half to run out winners by 2 points at the close.

Well done to all the panel and this win will give them great confidence as they progress through the league.
