Senior/Junior Ladies Football

Our adult players defeated neighbours Watergrasshill by 3-9 to 2-9 in a very entertaining practice match in the main pitch last Sunday evening, June 9.

U10 Ladies Football

We continued our league campaign last Friday night in glorious sunshine when we travelled to Na Piarsaigh. They proved too strong for our girls on the night. Ruby played in goal for the first half and Niamh in the second and both played well. Kate O’R, Jessie Caoimhe, Abby K and Shauna were busy at the back as we were under a lot of pressure but all did their best. Ciara was trying to send the ball to the forwards as Aoife L, Kate L and Aoife P were all chasing everything however we failed to score in the first half and Na Piarsaigh scored 5-2

We performed better in the second half with Alice and Abby H wining some great balls. Ciara had a shot going wide and Shauna had a shot come off the cross bar. Megan scored our only point and Na Piarsiagh managed a point in the second half.

Well done girls
