Carrigtwohill\Eirns Own intermediates lost on their first league outing killdorey in Shanballymore on Sunday 7th of April.  Missed opportunities in the first half when playing with the aid of a strong wind cost us dear. At half time we were only ahead by one point but to their credit the girls gave everything in the second half in terrible weather conditions to lose by the narrowest of margins. This was a reasonable result given that it was their first game. Final score Killdorrey 2-8 2-7 Carrigtwohill\Eirn’s Own

Carrigtwohill|Eirn’s Own inflicted Midleton’s first league defeat of the current intermediate league campaign on Saturday night last (16th of April) . Played in very windy conditions the home team found it difficult to find their range but did lead 1-6 to 0-0 at half time. In the second half the girls carried the ball very well into the wind and went on to collect their first league points, Inch Rovers and Rochban are our next opponents. Final Sore Carrigtwohill\Eirn’s Own 1-14 1-0 Midleton
