On Wednesday night May 2nd the monthly meeting of the East Cork Board was held with Chairman Billy McCarthy, Secretary Philip Harrington and Fixtures secretary Arthur O’Leary at the helm.
U-16 Leagues
A round up of the U-16 A&B leagues was carried out and pairings for the Semi Finals was announced
A Semi’s;    As Aghada and Bride Rovers finished on equal points they will have to play off on the 9th of May.
 13th May        Midleton  V  Bride Rover’s/Aghada
 7th May          Glanmire  V  Fermoy
Winners of these will play in the “A” Final and qualify for the “A” County Championships with losers playing in the “B” final and qualifying for the “B” County Championship 
 
B Semi’s;   6th/7th May     Mayfield  V  St. Colman’s
                    6th/7th May     Rockbán  V  Watergrasshill
Winners will play in the “C” final and qualify for the “C” County Championship
Loser’s will play in the “D” Final and qualify for the “D” County Championship
Finals to be played on the 13th May
It was voted on and passed at the meeting that the finals be played as soon as possible before we cease for the run up to exams
U-14 Leagues
All but one game in the U-14 A league have been played with a few still to be completed in the U-14 B section. The cut off date for all games to be played was 8th May
U-12 & U-10 Development Leagues
The U-12 & U-10 Development leagues were announced these will be on the website in due course but here are the first round games

Clubs are reminded that the affiliation fee (150 euros) for the East Cork Board is now due. Thanks to those that have paid. The second payment for referees is also due. This is 160 for each team entered in East Cork competitions at under 12, 14 and 16, payable in three installments of 60, 50 and 50 Euros. Payment can be made direct to the treasurer or at the next board meeting on the 6th of June.
The closing date for applications for the Munster 7 a side blitz to be held in Clonakilty is the 25th of May. I hope to have the application forms for Junior , Intermediate and Senior teams on the website shortly. The competion will be held on the 23rd of June.
