A very good performance was given by the u16 Cloyne girls on Sunday 26th February against Lisgoold. This was the first game ever for our new U-16 squad and they put in a great performance. The first half was a closely contested game and at half time we trailed by just five points. However in the second half the experience of Lisgoold showed and they pulled away to a point where we were never going to catch them. Although we lost, the management feels that there is great potential with this group of girls and is sure that results will come our way in the not too distant future. Training commences on Friday night 2nd March for the Gaelic4Mothers from 7.30pm-8.30pm. The u8’s start Saturday morning 3rd March from 10am and the u10’s from 11am. ALL new members welcome.
