Match Reports:

League v St. Coleman’s in Shanagarry on Monday 9th June 2014

St. Coleman’s 3-3 Carrigtwohill 5-4

Well done to our U12 Carrig girls on their 2nd win of the league!  Playing with very poor weather conditions as usual it was wet & slippery, in addition to this with only 13 players & no subs available due to injuries(wishing all our players better) the girls can all be very proud of their achievement!  Strong performances from Leah Buckley taking all her scoring opportunities well, Una O’Brien had a superb goal from well out. Our back line Kerrie Dorgan, Taylor Keohane & Alannah Ngwa played their socks off.  Our captain & goalkeeper Rachel Coady had a great night & made some great saves.  Well done to Ciara Walsh who always seems to get the football, no matter how tall her marker is.  Must mention Kiera Beamish, Ciara Horgan, Emma Grimes, Kate Boland, Kate O’Sullivan & Moya O’Riordan for putting the football forward & preventing it from going back!  Fantastic team work.
